'Tena Allene Cooper Gibson, age 79 was born December 3, 1933 the daughter of the late Earl and Okla Pennicuff Cooper. She departed this life Friday afternoon at the Jean Waddle Hospice Center in Somerset.

On October 3, 1967 she united in marriage with her husband of 46 years, Kenneth Weldon Gibson who survives. Surviving are three children: Evelyn Turner, Margaret Hicks and Bill Atkinson. Her children: Kenneth Earl Gibson and Phyllis Kay Piercy precede her in death.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren: four sisters: Avo Mason, Joyce Decker, Anna Gregory and Margie Slagle and her brothers: David Cooper. Her sister, Sophie Shelton precedes her in death.
