­­­­­­­­Thelma Jean Corder was born August 16, 1932, in the Denney's Gap area of Wayne County, Kentucky. She departed this walk of life Sunday, September 21, 2025, reaching the age of 93 years. She was the daughter of the late Calvin Worley and Melvina (Vaughn) Worley.

She is survived by her son: Thomas Corder (Brenda) and Grandson Dylan Corder (Cheyenne Brooke).  Along with a host of family and friends that mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents Calvin and Melvina Worley; Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Corder; whom she wed on July 9, 1953. Also preceding her in death was 1 Son: Johnny Dale Corder and 2 sisters: Evalee Denney and Ethel Lee Worley.

Thelma was a faithful member of Faith Baptist church. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 5 PM – 8 PM at Faith Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025, with visitation being held, starting at 8am, leading up to the funeral hour of at 1 PM at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Upper Turkey Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Gideons Living Memorial Bible Plan.
