Thomas Ray Abbott is survived by his siblings: Cora Sturgeon, Essie Dee (Jean) McDaniel, Earnest Abbott, Willie (Bill) Abbott, Lincoln Abbott, Lorine Combs, Linda Sayre and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnnie and Edna Abbott; brothers, James, Fred and Leo Abbott; and his sister, Christine McDaniel.

He was employed by, Guide Lamp Division of GM prior to entering the US Army in July of 1965. He was stationed in Vietnam from 1966-1967.

A graveside service will be held for the family at Elk Spring Cemetery.
