'Thomas Anthony Blevins was born September 30th, 1951 the son of the late Elmer and Mary Ona Blevins and departed this life February 1st, 2010 at his home reaching the age of 58 years.

Thomas is survived by his son Thomas Anthony, Jr., his brother Lloyd Kay Blevins of Atlanta, Georgia, two sisters Angela Nance and husband, Shep of Durham, North Carolina and Emily Baber and husband, Doug of Clearwater, Florida, his aunt, Pearl Gregory of Knightstown, Indiana and Glenna Upchurch and husband, Charles, uncle, Shelby Keeton and wife, Ruby all of Monticello, three nieces, a great-niece, two great-nephews and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ray Blevins and his grandmother, Etta Bell.

Tom accepted Christ at an early age at the First Baptist Church of Monticello.

He graduated from Monticello City School and attended Eastern Kentucky University prior to serving in the Navy. More recently, Tom was involved in local veteran-s activities.

He was a familiar face at regional ball fields where he umpired for many years. Tom was passionate about all sports especially University of Kentucky basketball.

Tom was known for his generosity and unique sense of humor and will be missed by his family and many friends.

The Memorial Service was Saturday in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anson Perkins officiating. Burial was in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
