'Thomas Calvin \u0027TC\u0027 Hancock was born in the Powersburg community of Wayne County, May 16, 1934 the son of the late Newell and Bertha Hicks Hancock. He departed this life, Wednesday, March 25th at the Wayne County Hospital reaching an age of 80 years.

On May 10, 1952 he united in marriage with his wife, Flora Neal Hancock who passed away June 26, 2008. To this union seven children survive: Bobby Hancock, Shirley Anderson, Forrest Hancock, Judy Tuggle, Richard Hancock, Jackie Crabtree and Steve Hancock. His daughter, Lynn Hancock precedes him in death.

Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; his sisters; Mary Turner, Martha Gann and Sue Tackett and his brother, Roger Hancock. He is also preceded in death by a grandchild and his sister, Georgia Kidd.

As a young man TC accepted Christ as his Savior and followed his Lord the rest of his life.
