'Thomas -Tommy- Wheeler Roberts, age 61 was born September 22, 1949 the son of the late Harry and Clova Bell Roberts. He lost his battle with cancer, Saturday morning, June 18th at the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington.He is survived by three daughters: Sheri McGuffin of Bardstown; Kristi Turner and Jill Guffey both of Monticello.Also surviving are his grandchildren: Briton Roberts, Ian McGuffin, Tyler Guffey, Tristan McGuffin, Lane Turner, Connor McGuffin, Kori Guffey and Jade Turner.He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Ella Sue Roberts.Tommy worked for the Mago Construction Company as a Quality Control Engineer for 35 years, was a veteran of the Army and a lifetime member of the Big Sinking Baptist Church.Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Hope Lodge sponsored by the American Cancer Society in Lexington, Kentucky.
