'Thomas Guy Sanford, age 65 was born, June 28, 1944 in Anderson, Indiana. He passed away Monday morning, June 29th at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Guy and Louise Wolski Sanford. Tom retired from General Motors in the late 90\u0027s after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue Bach Sanford of Monticello, KY; two children, Melissa Young and (Donald Young) of Pendleton, IN and Christopher Sanford of Markleville, IN; two grandchildren, Alexis Young and Kalyn Sanford and his sister, Jeanne Jones of Dacula, GA and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 Wednesday at Hickey Hoyt \u0026 Son Funeral Home .

The service will be 1PM Thursday at the St. Peters Catholic Church with burial in the Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
