Clayton Roberts was born July 4, 1946 and departed this life Saturday, January 11, 2020 reaching the age of 73 years. He was the son of (the late) Luther and Stella (Phillips) Roberts.

He is survived by: 1 son, Clayton (Kris) Roberts Jr.; 1 daughter, Melinda (Jeff) Dishman; 4 brothers; Donald, David, Kay and Bobby Roberts; 2 sisters, Hazel Bryant and Ruby Ellis; 6 Grandchildren: Mindy Brooke Guffey, Joseph Dishman, Josh, Jonathan and Makayla Roberts; 13 Great Grandchildren: Kyler, Zack & Zoe Guffey, Ruthie Foster, Lainey Atkinson, Aiden Dishman, Jace & Jordan Lewis, Taylen, Piper & Remi Roberts, Aiyana & Aniston Turpin and one on the way; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Linda Jean Roberts; 4 brothers, Raymond, Charlie, Arnold & Herbert Roberts; 3 sisters, Anna Faye Burnette, Betty Perry & Toni Litrell; and 1 grandchild, Jacob Lance Roberts.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2020 between 10 am and 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 2 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
