Thurman Tucker was born October 25, 1940 and departed this life Saturday, September 26, 2020 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of (the late) Gabe and Melvina (Morrow) Tucker.

He married Doris L. Guffey on February 20, 1976.

He is survived by: his wife of 45 years, Doris Tucker; 1 brother, RL Tucker; 3 sisters, Lena Selvidge, Joyce Gibson and Mona Hicks; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was a loving husband, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 28, 2020 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery in Alpha, Ky.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: The Old Bethel Bible Church Cemetery Fund.
