Valerie Revon Scott, age 74 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 15 ^th , 2021.

She was born February 24 ^th ,1947 in Wayne County, Kentucky; the daughter of the late Carlos Otha and Eatha Southwood Patrick.

She is survived by one daughter; Mary Elizabeth (James) Toon, three sisters; Ruth Francis Smith, Kelda Gretchen Bell, Zula Etta Valentine Cantrell, two grandchildren; Kristina Danielle Scott, Scott Allen Mullen, and three great grandchildren; Anyia Kay Gilley, Christopher Allen Gilley, and Landon Nicole Quintana.

She was preceded in death by six brothers; Guy Freeman Patrick, Denzil Omer Patrick, Robbie Gene Patrick, Forrest Denney Patrick, Carlos Mack Patrick, Jepp Roger Patrick, and one sister Allene Bernice Holder.

Valerie had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The family will recieve friends Tuesday, July 20 ^th , 2021 from 5 PM until 8 PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 21 ^st , 2021 at 11AM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Hollars officiating.  Burial will be in the Church of God Cemetery.
