Obituary
'Vela Mae Smith Stephenson, age 81 was born April 29, 1931 the daughter of the late Dewey C. and Flora Jane Carter Smith. She departed this life Thursday evening in the Emergency Room of the Wayne County Hosptial.
She is survived by two daughters: Anna Adkins of Somerset and Melinda Lemons of Monticello; her sister: Ila Jones of Somerset and brother: Kenneth Ray Smith of Dayton, Ohio and grandchildren: Keifer Adkins; Logan Lemons and Zackary Tucker.
Mrs. Stephenson had accepted Christ as her Savior and attended the Little Community Baptist Church.
