Velma Jean Kendrick of Monticello, Kentucky was born July 18,1941 and departed this life Wednesday, February 2 reaching the age of 80 years.

She was the daughter of the late Wendell and Ethel Gregory Burnett.

She is survived by three sons; Carl (Rene'), Dwight, and James Kendrick, one brother; Kenneth Burnett, and one grandson; Michael Kendrick.

Along with her husband, Perk Lee Kendrick, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Marie and Dorothy, and five brothers; Roy, Robert, Lyle, Larry, and Earl.

A private funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 8 ^th at 11AM in the Hickey funeral home chapel. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
