­­­­­­­­Vena Mae Martin was born September 12, 1935, and departed this walk of life Wednesday, February 18, 2026, reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Addie (Anderson) Martin.

She is survived by numerous cousins, family and friends that mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents Charlie and Addie Martin; she was preceded in death by her brother, Wendell Martin.

She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11 AM – 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Gideon Living Memorial Bibles.
