'Vena Dean Stinson, better known as Venil, age 77, was born December 7th, 1933 in Wayne County. She departed this life Monday, May 9th at the Wayne County Hospital.Vena was the daughter of the late Minda and Delphia Dishman. She was united in marriage to Dewey Stinson and to this union, six children survive: Farley (Vannie), Barbara York (Jackie), Donnie (Peggy), Lonnie (Paula), Timmy and Ronnie Stinson.Also surviving are two sisters; Helen Catron and Ora Sue Shelton; three brothers; Cecil, Othie, and Kay Dishman; three grandchildren; Crystal and Kandi Stinson and Janna Payne and two great-grandchildren; Pipa Pillar and Paislee Payne.She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Stinson; two sisters: Mary Lee McGinnis, Veloa Martin; two brothers: Odell and Odie Dishman.Vena was a homemaker and a member of the Jesus Name Church.
