Vergie E. Foster was born February 02, 1942, and departed this life Thursday, February 15, 2024, reaching the age of 82 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Stanley and Pearl (Abner) Owens.

She is survived by 2 sons, Jeff Neal, and Michael Foster; 3 daughters, Patty Massey, Rhonda Foster, and Pamela Foster; 4 brothers, Gene, William, Tommy, and Buddy Owens; 1 sister, Helen Collins; 12 grandchildren, Kaesey Rector, Lauren Cameron, Ashley Cameron, Chyenna Neal, Jacob Neal, Jamie Neal, Storm Massey, Abbigale Stearns, Hunter Chase Bronn, Sunshine Bell, Darinel Escobar, and Antonio Escobar; 6 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Kay Foster; 1 son, Scott Neal; 1 daughter, Debbie Neal; 2 sisters, Sara Evelyn Owens, and Mary Lou Buck; and 1 great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 6 PM – 8 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 2 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
