'Verna Sexton, age 63 was born January 6, 1947 the daughter of the late Bailey and Mary Daniels Hunley. She passed away Saturday morning October 16th, at her home after a very long illness.

On September 2, 1966 she united in marriage with Isaac Roy Sexton who survives. To this union three children survive, Sylvia (Hank) Tucker , Christina (David)Scott and Scott Sexton

Also surviving are her grandchildren; Joshua and Whitney Tucker, David and Emma Scott; and siblings, Fairy Looney, Harrison Hunley, Mack Hunley, Bessie Coffey, Anna Piercy and Billy Hunley

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Samantha Jo Tucker; and siblings, Jewell Sexton and Ben Hunley.

Verna had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Monticello First Church of God and attended the Monticello Church of the Nazarene.
