'Vernon Turner was born on December 3, 1936 the son of the late Earl and Stella Brown Turner. He departed this life, Thursday October 17, 2019 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky.
On May 15, 1959 he united in marriage to Stella Worley Turner who survives. To this 60- year union three children survive; Karen Turner, Shirley (Steve) Woolf, and Kevin (Stephanie) Turner. He is survived by his siblings; Johnny, James, Ray, Robert, Perry, and Ann Turner.
Also surviving are his grandchildren; Miranda Turner, Kimberly Nevels, Savannah Turner, Lana Turner, Laura Turner, Jeremy Anderson, Jamie Riggs, Ryan Bardua, Brandy Huddleston, and Step Grandson Tyler East.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: Helen, Betty, Carolyn, Frank, Cecil and Roy along with one grand -daughter, Summer Turner.
Vernon was a farmer who loved his friends and family dearly and will be missed by many. He accepted Christ as his savior and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.',
