Obituary
'Violet Burke Daniels was born, March 7, 1921 in the Griffin community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late Lincoln and Evaline Foister Burke. She passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at her home in the Oil Valley community.
On June 25, 1954 she united in marriage with Elmo Daniels who passed away September 5, 2010. To this union one daughter survives: Lisa Hutchison of Bronston. Her children: Jerry Daniels passed away in 1976 and daughter, Colleen Craig passed away in 2001.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Chuck and his wife Kim Craig, Melissa and her husband Rex Cassidy, Stacey and husband Chris Evans and Jeremy and his wife Stacey Jo Hutchison: four great grandchildren, Garret, Collin, Emmary and Eyan with several devoted nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
Mrs. Daniel was the last surviving member of the Lincoln Burke family. Her siblings: Vena Perkins, Leila Rice, Roy, Bill, Ralph and Ray Burke all precede her.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a faithful member of the Monticello Church of Christ
