Obituary
'Virgil Golson Dean was born in Wayne County, May 30th, 1945, the son of the late Jesse Golson and Lou Effie Zimmerman Dean. He departed this life May 14th, 2011 reaching the age of sixty five years.
On February 12th, 1970 he united in marriage to Ruby Shelton Dean who survives. To this union four children survive; Delora and her husband Ralph McGuire, Tammy and her husband Tracey Wilson, Marla and her husband Jerry Atkinson and Virgil Brian Dean and his fianc- Annie Wheeler. Also surviving is four sisters; Mary June Troxell, Irene Shelton, Lena Sue Abbott, Fannie Mae Dean and two brothers; Johnnie and Tony Dean. Virgil was also blessed by two grandchildren; Tori Beth Dean and Austin Tyler Atkinson.
Virgil was preceded in death by two children; Carrie Sue and Brittany Rae Dean, three half sisters Jean McPherson, Dorothy Rogers, Anna Laura Tuttle and one half brother Samson Russell.
He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
