'Virgil Lewis Richardson was born to Ervin and Cretia Richardson on May 25, 1930 and passed away on March 23, 2013 being 82 years old. He professed his faith in Christ at 15 years of age in 1945 and later was called to preach and pastored for 45 years.

He was united in marriage on December 2, 1950 to Aunita Southwood Richardson who passed away in September of 2000. He is survived by two daughters and one son: Jetta Upchurch and her husband Russell of Louisville, KY; David Richardson and his wife Mary of Bronston, KY and Deloris Richardson of Monticello, KY.

He was a wonderful Papoo to five grandchildren; Allen Upchurch and wife Regina; Stephen Upchurch and wife Auralee, Cheryl Tarter and husband John; Jill Richardson and Anita Richardson. He was also pappy to great grandchildren: Leann Parmley; Daniel Upchurch; Whitney Spencer; Chase Spencer, Jayden Richardson; Hunter Upchurch; Allison Upchurch; Josie Marsten; Justin Upchurch; Leighton Tarter; Austin Tarter; Abigail Tarter and Emma Upchurch. He also had two great-great grandchildren: November and Jaylin Marquez.

Also surviving are his siblings: Lonnie and Reed Richardson; Esteleen Cooper; Barbara Bridgeman; Ina Frost and Emilee Southwood.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife and siblings: Stanley; Roland and Romer Richardson; June Barton and Lucille White.

Even though he will be sadly missed by us all, we are happy that he is with his heavenly Father and reunited with his loving wife Aunita Southwood Richardson.
