­­­­­­­­­Virginia Casada was born August 9, 1933, and departed this walk of life Monday, December 22, 2025, reaching the age of 93 years. She was the daughter of the late John R. Dick and Loie (Morrow) Dick.

She is survived by her Sister: Lovie Tucker; Nephews: Johnney, Wade, Steve and Michael; Nieces: Judy, Rhonda, Patricia, Susan, Debbie, Joanna, Melinda, Mischa and Angie. Along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews that mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents John and Loie; she was preceded in death by her husband, Farris Casada (Married June 17, 1963); Sisters: Beulah Ramsey, Aughdene Stockton, Barbara Guffey and Ather Dick; Brothers: Waldo, Lonzo, Woodrow and Darrell Dick. And Nephew: Bradley Tucker.

Virginia loved teaching Sunday School and was a retired School Teacher. She was a member of Newtown Baptist Church. She was a loving Sister, Aunt and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 12 PM – 2 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at 2 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Gideon Living Memorial Bibles or Newtown Baptist Church.
