'Wanda Rose Dobbs was born July 27th, 1947 in Wayne County to the late Chester and Clyda Godsey Rose and departed this life Saturday, October 10th, at the Wayne County Hospital reaching the age of sixty eight years.

On April 27th, 1968 she united in marriage with Carter Dobbs and to this forty seven year union two sons survive; Rodney and his wife Lola Marie Dobbs and Carlos and his wife Lisa Carol Dobbs. Also surviving are four sisters; Desda Williamson, Joyce Dobbs, Margie Morrow, Elsie Tucker and brothers; Donald, Ralph, Larry and Zendell Rose along with six grandchildren and nine great grand-children.

She is preceded in death by her siblings; Junior Lee, Mary Jane, Doris, Sheryl Lane and Barbara.

Wanda had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the Elk Ridge Baptist Church.
