Wendell Denney was born November 6 ^th , 1940 and departed this life Thursday, September 9 ^th , 2021 reaching the age of 80 years.  He was the son of the late Eulan and Georgia Bertram Denney.

He is survived by one uncle; Ray Bertram and one aunt; Betty Catron.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife; Barbara Pyles Denney.

Wendell had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 13 ^th , 2021, between 5PM-8PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 14 ^th at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home.   Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
