Obituary
'Wilby Eugene Hurt, age 79 was born, in the Mt. Pisgah community of Wayne County, October 17, 1927, the son of the late Marion and Mary Blevins Hurt. He lost he fight with cancer Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Clinton County Hospital.
May 5th, 1950 he united in marriage with his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Guffey Hurt who survives.
Also surviving are three sisters, Marie Lawson of Washington, Glada Costello, and Jo Alice White and three brothers, Cecil, Denver and David Hurt all of Scottsville, Kentucky.
Wilby accepted Christ as his Savior as a young man and became a lifetime member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
