'William Lloyd Dick was born in the Pueblo community of Wayne County, January 3, 1919 the son of the late Isaac G. and Ottie Morrow Dick. He departed this life, Monday morning, March 1st at the Golden Years Nursing Home after an extended illness.
On November 1, 1943 he united in marriage with Marjorie Marie Davenport Dick who passed away, August 20, 1988. To this 44 year union two sons were born, Bro. William Lloyd -Bill- Dick of Monticello and Jerry Donald Dick who passed away in August of 2005.
Also surviving are four grandchildren; Terry and Don Dick, Denise Hicks and Suzette Marie Waylon and great grandchildren, Kristie, Levi, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Matthew, John Thomas, Heather and Cody; Three sisters, Bernice Dick, Wilma Dick and Mary Daniel and three brothers, Floyd, Cecil and Lawrence Dick with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Roberts and Zollie Dick and brother Ellis Dick.
Lloyd served his country with honor during the Second World War. He had accepted Christ as his Savior as a young man and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
