William Dyer Guffey of Monticello, Kentucky was born February 5th ,1934 and departed this life Tuesday, July 12th ,2022 reaching the age of 88 years.

He is survived by one daughter; Teri Fox, one daughter-in-law; Geraldine Guffey, six grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mable Guffey, one daughter; Connie Brown, one son; Ted Guffey, two brothers; Robert Franklin Guffey and Corbit Ray Guffey, and one grandson; Mark Hodges.

William had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and attended Corner Stone Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 18 ^th from 11AM until 1PM in the funeral home chapel with a memorial service following at 1PM. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
