'William Louis Higginbotham, died at home in Campbellsville, Kentucky on Monday, October 18, 2010. Son of the late Georgia and Orville Higginbotham, William was born November 7, 1937 in Monticello, Kentucky. William worked at the former Naval Avionics Center in Indianapolis, Indiana for 37 years as a Quality Assurance Engineer. He was married to the former Patricia Mulry of Indianapolis in 1970, who survives. After retiring they moved to the Green River Lake area in Campbellsville where he enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking.

Other survivors include a son, William Thomas Higginbotham, 38 of Sebring, Florida, three sisters and a brother, Thomasine Hailey of Indianapolis, Judy Huffaker of Monticello, Kentucky, Jedda Fallahzadeh of Somerset and John Allen Higginbotham of Nashville, Tennessee, brother-in-law Dr. Hossein Fallahzadeh of Somerset, and many beloved nieces and nephews, spouses and children.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Lynn, 11 years old, two sisters Virginia Kabel and Alma Jo Keeton both of Monticello, and a brother James Phillip Higginbotham of Belzoni, Mississippi.

The funeral service will be held 3PM Saturday, October 23 at the Rogers Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Anderson, officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM and Saturday from 1 to 3 PM at the Church, burial in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
