Obituary
'William Raymond Rains, age 82 was born in Wayne County, July 17, 1927 the son of the late Elmer and Ila Ramsey Rains. He departed this life, Monday morning, May 17, 2010 at his home in the Cabell community.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Rains who passed away February 2, 2008.
Surviving are his children, Bill and his wife Lora Rains of Monticello, his daughter Brenda and her husband Duane Craig of San Antonio, Texas.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Michael Rains, Angela Craig and Daphne LaRosa; his brother, Paul and his wife Wilma Rains of Mansfield, Missouri and step sister Jewel Clark Hancock of Monticello; his niece Teresa Brooks and nephew Randy Rains.
He is preceded in death by his infant brother, Robert Rains.
William was retired from the Lake Cumberland Boys Camp and was a Veteran of the Marine Corps.
