Shearer is survived by his parents, Joe and Carol New Shearer;sister Allison Heatherly and brother, Jeffrey Shearer; Grandmother, Alma New; nephews, Trevor and Nicholas; Aunts and uncles, Susan Dishman, Mary Eva Shearer, Danny and Mike Shearer; Cousins, Blaine and Bryan Shearer, Sarah Bertram, J.B. Powell, Jason Dishman.
