'Windel Tucker, age 70 was born in the Freedom community of Wayne County, December 19, 1940 the son of the late Henry William and Tilda Ann Morrow Tucker. He departed this life suddenly, Friday, April 1st at his home on the Charlie Tucker Road.

He is survived by his sisters: Artie Watson and Cloie Roberts: and brothers; James; Junior; Carlie and Clyde Tucker with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by his sisters: Tamsey Tucker and Ollie Maxwell and brothers: Noel; Bonnie and Schyler Tucker.

At the age of 15 Windel accepted Christ as his Savior and became a member of the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church where he remained faithful his entire lifetime.
