'Zona Irene Draughn, age 78 was born in McRoberts, Ky. on March, 7, 1929 the daughter of the late Wiley and Pearlie Lawson. She departed this life Wednesday evening, October 31, 2007 at her home in Somerset, Ky.

She was united in marriage on November 16, 1945 with Hiram Draughn and to this union four children survive: Linda Cornell of Science Hill, Ky., Jim Lawson of Smyrna, Tennessee, Larry Draughn of Livonia, Michigan and Hiram J. Draughn of Jabez, Ky.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Marie Cheek and brothers, Kyle Bert, Roscoe Ray and Wiley Joe Lawson.

Irene had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Somerset, Ky.
